  Evidently, Mo Cheeks impressed someone during a recent phone interview with the Pistons. The Oklahoma City Thunder assistant coach and former head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers will have second interview with the Pistons today, according to two people with knowledge of the situation.

• U-M adding a QB transfer? Not looking likely

  There have been only a few players briefly associated with U-M, and both have chosen other schools. Florida State's Clint Trickett went West Virginia, and Arkansas' Brandon Mitchell chose N.C. State this week.

• Lions claim DE off waivers from Saints
